Soccer Kings

Soccer Kings is a game openly inspired by the brilliant Reigns, but instead of leading a kingdom you lead a football team. Your aim is to preserve a balance between the three 'powers' in the club: board, players, and fans.

The gameplay in Soccer Kings is exactly like that of Reigns. The game gives you a card with a situation that may be more or less complicated starring a board member, a fan, and a player. What decision you make depends on which side of the screen you swipe the card toward, and each decision will boost or reduce your score with one of the groups.

As happens in Reigns, the more you play and the more months you spend on the bench, the more cards and situations you'll unlock. Most of the cards are also clearly inspired by real people from the world of football, with clear winks at famous players and managers.

Soccer Kings is a fun game that despite being openly inspired by Reigns succeeds in introducing a radical change to the theme. That said, though the change works, there are some situations and defeat conditions that turn out a bit strangely.
